Anthony Wambugu

Anthony is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Economics at the University of Nairobi where he teaches courses in Microeconomic Theory, Labour Economics, Research Methods and Econometrics. He moved to the University of Nairobi in November 2007 after teaching for nine years at Kenyatta University. He obtained an M.A. degree in Economics from the University of Botswana and a PhD degree in Economics from the University of Gothenburg. His research focuses on labour market issues, human capital investment (education, on-the-job training, health and nutrition, migration) and poverty in developing countries.
