Mike Savage

Mike is the Martin White Professor of Sociology at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and Director of the LSE’s International Inequalities Institute, one of the world’s premier centres for the study of inequality. He has previously been Professor at the universities of Manchester and York (where he was also Head of Department) and has recently been Visiting Professor at Science Po (Paris), Oslo, Edmonton, Bergen, Helsinki and in the past two years has given international keynotes at Kunming (China), Rio de Janeiro, Aalborg (Denmark), Oslo, Paris, Edmonton, Harvard, Krakow (Poland), Cape Town, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Curacao, and Dublin.
