Nkechi Srodah Owoo
Nkechi is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economics and a Research Associate at the West Africa node of the Africa Centre of Excellence for Inequality Research. Her research broadly focuses on microeconomic issues in developing countries. She has experience in the analysis of large-scale national household surveys, such as the Demographic and Health Surveys and the World Bank’s Living Standards Measurement Surveys. She is experienced in the empirical analyses of cross-sectional and panel datasets. Her recent research focuses on exploring the determinants and dynamics of inequality in Ghana as well as issues around family structure, fertility and household food security.
