Alina Averchenkova

Alina is a Distinguished Policy Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment where she leads the Governance and Legislation research theme. Alina has over 19 years of experience in climate policy, governance and international development, having worked for the UNFCCC secretariat, as well as in high profile organisations in the private sector and in the non-governmental organisation community. She has a track record of delivering high impact policy analysis, stakeholder engagement and strong policy networks internationally and in the case study countries. Alina holds a PhD in Economics and International Development from the University of Bath.
